Nenagh Cycle Hub – The North Tipperary Cycle Network, with Nenagh town as its cycling hub offering three routes varying in distance from 11km to 67km. Each cycle offers spectacular views of the local countryside while loops 1 and 2 provide stunning lakeside sceneries. There are numerous picnic stops dotted along the route as well as a vast amount of award-winning pubs and restaurants.

Loop 1: 65km – This loop takes the cyclist along the eastern shores of Lough Derg and through the lakeside villages of Dromineer and Terryglass.
Loop 2: 30km – Loop 2 is the shortest of the three loops, which allows access to further remarkable views of the lake before descending into Castlelough and on a working farm, along a slight off-road section to Garrykennedy. Loop 2 is suitable for all bike types.
Loop 3: 67km – It’s a relatively flat cycle visiting Cloughjordan, home to Ireland’s first eco-village returning to Nenagh along quiet inland roads.
